Feb 28, 2010 - it's a town that's built on the sex industry... i think it all stemmed from the war etc. I've only been there once, so i can't say a whole lot about it.there is touristy things to do there too, but if you go out at night the whole place is just full of Thai women everywhere you look, it's a bit over the top in my opinion...Phuket is a good mix of nightlife, nice beaches and touristy things to do... fun!
