Jan 23, 2010 - I have been to Bangkok 2 times - it's a crazy, beautiful city! Thai people are amazingly calm and serene. As a contrast, take a trip to Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand; I really recomment making the journey by train - it's not luxury, but very enjoyable.

Feb 8, 2010 - Bangkok was blah. I probably will not visit it again any time soon. I stayed in the Sukhumvit district. We got around fine with skytrain and taxi, although 80% of the time the taxi drivers tried to cheat us. Food was cheap and so was the entertainment. Its a good cheap place if it weren't for the scam artists.
