Brief Description รายละเอียด: Medical Research Technician Job description: Working as a medical research technician in the molecular genetic laboratory section. The job includes: (1) Participate in development of laboratory protocols and laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operating in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). (2) Perform DNA/RNA amplification by conventional/real time PCR for qualitative/ quantitative detection of enteric pathogens including bacteria, viruses and protozoa. (3) Perform DNA/RNA preparation from clinical and environmental specimens to be used in the detection or identification of enteric pathogens by PCR amplification. (4) Coordinate specimens delivery. Maintain and update detailed records of specimen delivery and storage. Prepare and arrange specimens for shipment to outside collaborators. (5) Perform and update a quarterly inventory of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals in Molecular Generics Section (6) Perform quality control of laboratory equipment used in Molecular Genetics Section in accordance with equipment SOPs. (7) Maintain stock of all common supplies used in Molecular Genetics Section. (8) Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's degree /Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or Medical technology. Prior work experience: 2 years of progressive experience in Molecular Biology. Language proficiency: Conversant in English.
