A
view over the town of Tokoroa on the north island of New Zealand, which
bills itself as 'the safest country in the world' in its pitch to
attract foreign students to its schools.
PHUKET
CITY: Antipodean cousins New Zealand and Australia are set to go
head-to-head in pursuit of young minds later this month, with both
countries hosting education expos in Phuket.
On June 16, the New
Zealand Education Center and the New Zealand Embassy will host the New
Zealand Education Fair 2009 at the Phuket ICT Skill Development and
Learning Center at Saphan Hin.
Thai nationals interested in studying abroad are invited to come along and see what the home of the All Blacks has to offer.
The event will take place between 2pm and 8pm.

Meanwhile, the Australian embassy invites students to attend the Education Australia Expo 2009 on Saturday, June 20.
The event will take place at the Event Hall on the second floor of Central Festival Phuket from noon until 8pm.
Some
of Australia’s leading educational institutions will be represented.
