Who do you think is at the top of the ladder and is really cashing in on this scam? Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, Koh Larn... this is happening everywhere and no one is doing anything about it, regardless of their bogus press releases saying they are "looking into it." This is a scam with city officials and high ranking police at the very top of the food chain.

May 7, 2011 - I rented a jet ski on Koh Samui and after about 10-15 minutes the check engine light came on and the jet ski was barely running. Eventually i made it to shore. They gave me another jet ski and added 15 minutes free of charge. Kinda nice of them i think =) I was sure i was gonna have to pay a lot of money for that engine failure.

I don't care, they don't scare me, I refused to pay them. I also speak enough Thai to tell them that they should pay my wife restitution for their insult. Don't go to Thailand, take your vacation somewhere else.
