I'm not a big fan of Morel's but I do enjoy hunting for them(i'll use any excuse to go wander out in the woods) Also have a few neighbors that pay me well for fresh picked =) This will be my 4th year of Morel-prospecting and I've improved my success of finding them each year. Videos like this are key.

May 2, 2011 - My grandfather always said to to take the morel that is too old or dry and break it up and spread it. ANd yes always use a onion sack to spread spores.

Apr 25, 2011 - we dont have very many if not any at all elms in our part of kansas we just have alot of cottonwoods, im guessing you live in the ozarts region of kansas?
