Don't over-exaggerate about rugby either. Rugby players most of the time jog around the field, waiting for the ball come to their field of area. Just because it's in constant motion doesn't mean it's a "faster" sport. It's a slow sport that doesn't stop. American Football is a fast sport that stops at occasion.

Anyways after hits like that (like you running and contact and they fall down) you kinda stand there for a second cause your body is at a stand still at the point of impact. On the field you just do what ever to get them down, you don't think about the wrap - you just go for what feels right. It's football, not soccer.
