Jul 7, 2011 - @izurz Its quite possible actually. Meat is more nutritiious for them but theyve been known to eat vegetation, mostly because it aids in digestion etc but it does no harm to them and it fills their stomachs, carnivores eat meat because they need 10 times as much vegetation to get the same amount of nutrition.

Jul 7, 2011 - @redpedgirl i have, and it is very poorly researched. For example, the abbot beating the two tigeres? The tigers were fighting, and as with dog fights, youre meant to hit them in the nose and paws with a stick to break them up. And the staff uniform changes? Its thai tradition. They wear different colors to work each day of the week to honor a different member of the royal family, for example, monday they wear yellow for the king, thursday is purple for the princess etc

Aug 1, 2011 - @Rhed009 how do you know that?

rickphd05 Says:

Aug 2, 2011 - I have been there and can tell you that they are NOT drugged. In the heat of the day they just lay around...but after the last picture taking session you can (for a fee) go into the canyon and watch the tigers play and exercise...it's pretty amazing. I was within feet of these amazing animals as they were free from any leashes...and I watched them run and play.

Jan 1, 2012 - I went there last summer. they explained to me that you take pictures with the tigers after they eat so they are more relaxed. also they feed them chicken so we seem less appealing for them to eat. its a pretty amazing experience and i would recommend it to anybody who is in or is going to Thailand.

gatoandrew Says:

Jan 21, 2012 - I don't know...the tiger doesn't look like a peaceful Buddhist.

Jan 26, 2012 - My life goal... To raise tigers or build nice little jungle or something that tigers might like and kick the ass out of deforestation.

johnnyphisit Says:

Jan 28, 2012 - @Bastylax86 These monks are just normal ppl like u and me but they have alot more love , kind and compasion toward animals and humans

lverniero Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - It is a well known fact that these tigers are drugged, that is why they are so docile . I live inThailand but when I first arrived I wanted to go here too...until I spoke with the locals.
